Party Website Page Creation & Editing Standards
The page that the link above goes to will be your party's website portal -- its homepage. From that page you may create additional pages on which you'll post your policy ideas, platform positions, advertisements, candidate information, and anything else you think would-be voters should know about you. For each new page you create, you must follow the naming convention below.
  • New page name must be preceded by 0809P(your period number)(abbreviated title for subject of page)
  • Example: the main page for period 2's foreign policy information (as a hypothetical example) should end up being http://gubment.wikispaces.com/0809P7foreignpolicy
  • You'll need to create pages using the text editing option -- see the help topics on wikispaces for how to do this if you don't already know
  • Only party leadership will edit the website, although they may delegate editing duties to policy chairs. Party staffers may not edit any pages.
  • Each party website must include the entire party platform, short summaries of the party's position on all major and minor issues, and at least one video or audio presentation of some sort (your call!). Party leadership must clear & coordinate all multi-media posts with me before posting.
